Source service

background information.The
operator profiles are updated every three months.Earlier

world by access technologies and various delivery channels like local

was launched in September 2003. It profiles the value-added

has been involved in online environments and development since the late
1980's and has planned and implemented a wide range of multimedia
related projects including as a TV and video producer with credits for
broadcast productions and early groundbreaking internet implementations. He
has worked as marketing and website manager for small to medium online
retail organisations, as website producer for leading agencies and was
senior producer for several internet and intranet projects
for B2C and B2B projects for blue chip multinationals winning
a number of industry awards. He
has a BSc in Maths and Economics from the University of London. Tim
Johnson is the founder and Publisher of Point Topic.He
also founded Ovum, now a part of the Informa Group and previously the
biggest independent IT and telecoms analysis group based in Europe. He writes
for the UK Plus service and takes overall responsibility for the
analysis that Point Topic provides and it's R&D. Tim
Johnson is known as an expert in broadband developments around the
world.He
frequently speaks on this topic at conferences in Europe, Asia-Pacific
and America.His
expertise is based on long experience of new media, and the
technologies which enable them. His
work has included in-depth studies of key technologies such as
packet-switching and artificial intelligence, including natural
language processing, of new media such as teletext and high-definition
television, and of major markets such as data communications. Together
with a strong group of colleagues he used this experience to recreate
Ovum as a highly successful analyst company in 1985. Tim
also founded Look Multimedia, for which he produced a series of
documentary and corporate videos for the computer industry, including
