du IPTV

du is an integrated telecom service provider, based in the UAE. It offers fixed and mobile telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services to individuals, homes and businesses, and carrier services for businesses. In February 2007, du launched mobile telecommunication services across the UAE, in addition to internet and pay TV services that it provides in some of the free zones of Dubai. The company had just over 4.9 million active mobile customers and 640,000 fixed line subscribers at the end of Q311. As of September 2011, du claimed a 45 per cent mobile market share in UAE.

du is 39.5 per cent owned by Emirates Investment Authority, 19.75 per cent by the Abu Dhabi Government, through its ownership of Mubadala, 19.5 per cent by Dubai Holding, through its ownership of ECT, and the remaining stake by public shareholders.
