MTS

Manitoba Telecom Services is the incumbent telecommunications operator in the Canadian province of Manitoba. MTS is the province’s only full service provider of local, long-distance, wireless, directory and multimedia telecommunications services. It also provides residential and business security systems across Western Canada.

In January 2003, it launched the MTS digital TV service for its residential customers in Winnipeg and had over 59,000 subscribers at the end of September 2006. MTS also introduced a DSL and MTS TV bundled service for its customers in October 2003.
