T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) is the incumbent operator in Croatia. Through its two business units, T-Com and T-Mobile, the Group provides fixed telephony, mobile telephony, wholesale, Internet and data services. T-HT is 51 per cent controlled by Deutsche Telecom, with the state holding a 9.5 per cent stake.

In 2009, the operator started the accelerated development of its fibre network and expects to connect its first customers by the end of 2009.

T-HT launched its IPTV service, MAXtv, in September 2006. Since September 2008, MAXtv the service is available without subscribing to an ADSL connection.

In November 2011, Hrvatski Telekom launched a new service called MAXtv To Go. The service enables users to watch MAXtv on their computers and mobile handsets.
