TP IPTV

Telekomunikacja Polska (TP) is the incumbent telecommunications operator in Poland. France Telecom owns approximately 47.5 per cent of TP and the Polish government owns around 3.87 per cent. TP offers DSL services to its residential customers under the brand name Neostrada.

In Q206, the operator launched its IPTV service offering local TVN channels to its broadband subscribers using ADSL technology.

In July 2007, TP signed five agreements with Polish telco Netia regarding the regulation of connecting networks, traffic exchange and settlements between the operators.

In April 2011, TP announced plans to deploy 3 million new FTTH lines. In June 2011, TP launched VDSL2 services with up to 80 Mbps speeds.
