Broadband Money Makers BredbandsbolagetBredbandsbolaget is the second largest broadband service provider offering fast broadband access (LAN and DSL), IP-telephony, Video-on-Demand and TV services in Sweden. It was established in 1998 and was one of the first companies to offer an infrastructure comprising a bidirectional broadband network based on a solution using Ethernet LAN and optical-fibre cables. B2 Bredband launched its digital-TV over DSL network in more than 70 municipalities in Sweden. At the end of January 2009, B2 Bredband had more than 200,000 homes connected to VoIP services. It also had a 25 per cent broadband market share with about 2 million homes connected. Since July 2005 Bredbandsbolaget has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Norwegian Telenor ASA.
