Earthlink is an Atlanta-based Internet service provider, which resells DSL services. Earthlink provides SDSL and IDSL (ISDN DSL) service to business users.

In May 2005, it announced its plans to build its own platform and offer combined broadband and VoIP later in 2005. Further, the company expects to generate up to USD 500 million per year from VoIP by 2009, with market penetration of 2 percent of US households. However, the company has not released detailed figures for the number of its VoIP subscribers.
