This analysis is one of the regular benchmark analyses that Point Topic has been providing for the benefit of its subscribers since March 2000. Our benchmarks report on statistics and tariffs for DSL and cable modem broadband services.

This report covers the tariffs of 18 leading DSL operators, and 16 leading cable modem operators across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific. We have compared the tariffs of these operators in terms of the monthly rental offered at the 'entry level' service by each operator.

This report looks at the following areas for each of the operators surveyed:

  • Purchasing Power Parity (PPP)
  • USD equivalent monthly rentals
