Amis is a leading alternative provider of integrated communication services in Slovenia. It offers Internet, telephony and TV services through its own cable, DSL and fibre networks as well as through the LLU networks of Telekom Slovenije, OšO, BS3 and Skyline.

The company was founded in 1995 as Medinet d.o.o. In 2001, it launched cable and VoIP services, followed by an ADSL launch in 2003 and a FTTx launch in 2008.

In 2006, Medinet was acquired by new owners, financial KBC Private Equity Fund based in Belgium and Iris Capital based in France, and renamed Amis d.o.o.

In Q112, company's premium internet service allowed customers to browse internet at speeds of up to 1 Gbps. In addition to its standalone services, operator provided a range of double play services (television and internet, VoIP and internet etc.) as well as triple play services (internet, television and VoIP). In Q112, Amis collaborated with Si.Mobil to launch mobile service brand AmisMobil.
