On 2 November 2010, AT&T acquired inCompass Wireless to expand its expertise in the area of enterprise mobility solutions. It can now offer its customers a wider set of services thus increasing customer satisfaction.

AT&T operations are split into various divisions including AT&T residential which offers voice, data, wireless and satellite TV services to consumers; AT&T U-verse, which offers a suite of IP based services such as next generation IPTV and VoIP; AT&T Business, which offers managed network services as well as connectivity services to small and medium business clients; and AT&T Enterprise which caters to large companies, the government and wholesalers.
