Be Unlimited is now a subsidiary of O2 UK. It was originally established as an independent ISP in 2004, offering high speed Internet services based on ADSL 2+ technology to residential and business customers.

Be Unlimited's position has been overshadowed by the launch of the new O2 Broadband brand on 15 October 2007, which is now the main focus of O2's broadband strategy. O2 Broadband uses Be Unlimited's extensive LLU network.
