Bright House Cable is the cable division of Advance Publications and Newhouse Broadcasting Corporation. It changed its name from Advance/Newhouse in early-2003. The operator offers digital phone, high-speed data, video-on-demand (VOD) and subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services to its customers.

On 28 January 2008, Bright House launched its "Start Over” service in Tampa Bay. The service is an advanced VOD application that allows customers to restart TV programs that are already in progress. The service is supported by more than 23,000 dedicated video streams.
