19 Jan 2012Cable ONE

Cable ONE (a subsidiary of The Washington Post) is a US-based cable operator that offers digital cable TV and cable Internet services in around 19 states throughout the Midwestern, Southern and Western US. The operator launched its cable Internet services for residential users in March 2000 and started offering an equivalent service to business users in early 2001.

In Q4 2008, Cable ONE revised its business services by launching two new enterprise solutions catering to the needs of mid-sized business customers. The operator also launched fibre based Internet solutions for larger enterprises and industry segments like healthcare, state and local governments. The new services indicate Cable ONE's focus on increasing its presence in the business customer segment.
