Cogeco is a provider of cable TV, high-speed Internet and broadcasting services in Ontario and Quebec. It offers cable TV services through its cable division, Cogeco Cable. It also operates television and radio stations via its Cogeco Radio-Television subsidiary.

On 6 December 2011, Cogeco Inc planned to acquire Métromédia CMR Plus Inc. to strengthen its position in the advertising rephouse in the public transit sector.

On 30 April 2010, Cogeco acquired radio stations in Quebec for CAD 80 million in an all cash deal with Corus Entertainment Inc. The deal will allow the operator to diversify its offering and reach new audiences.
