Co-operative of Telephone Services of Tarija (COSETT) was formed in 1984 following the restructuring of the Municipal de Telefonos. The operator offers Internet, cable television, IPTV, data transmission and telephony services. In August 2006, COSETT announced plans to expand its fibre-optic network by 400 kilometres in south Bolivia.
