Demon Internet

Demon Internet is an ISP with operations in the UK. It was established in 1992 and taken over by THUS plc, a provider of communications solutions, in 1998. It provides a comprehesnsive portfolio of professional communications services, including leased lines, web hosting, data and security services in the UK.

THUS plc was taken over by Cable & Wireless on 12 September 2008. Following the takeover, Demon Internet became a dormant brand, catering to both residential and business customers. However, on 22 June 2010, the company re-launched itself as a business broadband provider, targeting small and medium sized business users in the UK.

In September 2005, THUS introduced its SIP interconnect service allowing it to provide VoIP services over its IP MPLS based network.
