Insight Communications is a cable TV operator which also offers broadband Internet access. It is based in New York City and was established in 1985. The company offers digital video, high-speed Internet, HDTV, DVR (Digital Video Recorder) and digital phone services to cable customers in Ohio, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.

On 2 January 2008, in a deal with Comcast, Insight acquired 100 per cent of the cable systems in the Kentucky area while Comcast acquired access to the Illinois region. Indiana customers are still shared between the two operators.
