18 Mar 2010Softbank Telecom - ODN

Japan Telecom, a leading telecommunications operator in Japan, became a part of Softbank Group of companies in early October 2006 changing its name to Softbank Telecom.

The operator provides DSL services through two channels, retail and wholesale. It offers retail DSL services through its Internet Service Provider, Open Data Network (ODN).

At the end of 2006, the operator merged with its subsidiary, Software Bank Telecom Sale Corporation (SBTS). This merger allowed both companies to strengthen their financial structure.
