Koç.net is a subsidiary of Koç Group, the largest conglomerate in Turkey, and operates as a managed services provider since 1996. After the liberalisation of the Turkish voice market in 2004, Koç.net became Turkey's largest alternative operator with its own backbone network.

Koç.net provides ADSL and phone services in the personal communications market under the BiRi brand since August 2008. It was first to launch ADSL2+ in the Turkish market in February 2009.

Koç.net also provides a wide range of data and voice services to corporate customers, including more than 2000 large scale companies and 75,000 SMEs, as well as SDSL/ADSL, Metro Ethernet and leased line services on wholesale basis.

In December 2011, Koç.net was acquired by Vodafone.
