Korea Telecom

Korea Telecom (KT), first established on 10 December 1981, is the largest provider of ADSL services in the world. KT is the major nationwide local call service carrier in Korea. It provides nationwide local and long distance call services, overseas call services, multimedia services and satellite communications services.

On 15 February 2008, KT announced its plans to launch its KOREASAT No. 6 satellite in June 2010. The launch would facilitate satellite communication and broadcasting services.
