Telefonica Chile, Compañía de Telecomunicaciones de Chile S.A., is a leading telecommunications company in Chile. In June 2006, Telefonica Chile entered the pay TV market with the launch of its nationwide satellite TV service.

From October 2009, the company markets all fixed line based services, which include fixed telephony, broadband and digital TV, under the brand Movistar. Consolidation of all services under one brand is part of the new strategic vision of the Telefonica Group globally, Chile becoming the first of the 15 countries to begin the process. In Q310, Telefonica Chile started deploying its FTTH network. It launched bundles with speeds up to 40 Mbps in Q211.
