Operator Source 28 Mar 2012NetiaNetia is the largest alternative fixed-line telecom operator in Poland. In April 1999, Netia was granted a licence for network construction and delivery of data transmission services, as well as Internet access in Poland. In March 2000, Netia won the tender for the licence to build a local network and provide telecommunications services in Warsaw. The company's main shareholders are Novator Telecom Poland (29.27 per cent), Third Avenue Management (20.54 per cent), SISU Capital (10.03 per cent) and other private and institutional investors. Currently Netia offers Internet access, telephony services, hosting services, Frame Relay, IntegralNet, leased lines and services for Netia Carrier operators. In December 2011, Netia acquired Telefonia Dialog and Crowley Data Poland, following which it embarked on integrating all three companies into so called 'New Netia'. In Q112, Netia launched VDSL services over its network with up to 50Mbps speeds.
