Founded in 1842, P&T Luxembourg is the incumbent operator in Luxembourg. It became a publicly owned corporation on 10 August 1992. Since 1993, it is also the operator of the mobile telephony network LuxGSM.

The company offers broadband and dial-up Internet services, fixed and mobile data communication services, WiFi HotSpot access and a wide range of other telecoms products. After extensive trials, P&T launched an IPTV service over DSL in spring 2008.
