PlusNet
PlusNet is an ISP which offers dial up and broadband services in the UK. It was established in 1997. In November 2006, BT made an offer to acquire PlusNet for GBP 67 million and this deal was completed early in 2007.
PlusNet is continuing to operate with a separate brand and identity and has become the umbrella organisation for other brands such as Madasafish, acquired with the purchase of Brightview. Although BT reported a separate joint subscriber number for the PlusNet and Brightview acquisitions together when they were first acquired, it ceased to do so as of its 2008-09 financial year.
