Rostelecom - Volga (formerly Volga Telecom) is the largest telecommunications company in the Volga region providing a wide range of fixed and mobile telephony, Internet and data transmission, TV and radio broadcasting services. The company operates in 11 regions of the Privolzhsky Federal Region.

Volga Telecom was established in 2002 following the restructuring of the telecommunications industry when 11 Privolzhsky Federal Region telecommunication operators merged with Nizhny Novgorod company OJSC VolgaTelecom (former Nizhegorodsvyazinform). By the end of 2008, Volga Telecom was the third largest broadband ISP in Russia.

In June 2010, Volga Telecom merged with Rostelecom. From 1 April 2011, it operates as the regional branch of Rostelecom under the name Rostelecom Volga.
