Rutland Telecom is now a part of Gigaclear company, a private telecommunications service provider in UK. Gigaclear is involved in building fibre access networks across various communities in the UK.

Rutland Telecom offers ADSL2+, VDSL, SDSL, wireless and fibre-optic services in the Rutland area of the UK. On 15 May 2009, Rutland Telecom launched its broadband services in Rutland, offering speeds of up to 40 Mbps. The company has pioneered in sub-loop unbundling to supply high speed Next Generation broadband services to rural communities in the region.
