So-net Taiwan is an Internet subsidiary of SONY Communication Network Corporation offering broadband TV, Internet and telephony services. The ISP was established in August 2001.

In January 2008, So-Net changed its name to So-Net Entertainment with the intention of providing more entertainment services. It also aims to co-operate more closely with So-Net Japan.

On 18 March 2009, So-Net Entertainment sold 30 per cent of its shares to Chunghwa Telecom. The two companies will further jointly develop fibre broadband and multi-media platforms in Taiwan.
