Operator Source 2 Apr 2012StarHub Cable VisionStarHub Cable Vision (SCV) is a subsidiary of StarHub, a telecommunications company in Singapore. In July 2002, Singapore Cable Vision merged with StarHub and was renamed StarHub Cable Vision. SCV provides cable TV and broadband services and has built a USD 600 million nationwide broadband network in Singapore. In June 2009, StarHub Cable Vision joined the consortium with other leading Asian telecommunication companies to jointly plan and develop a proposal to build an international submarine cable system in the Asia Pacific region. In March 2010, StarHub successfully completed tests of its HSPA+ network becoming the first mobile operator in Southeast Asia to achieve a peak data downlink speed of 42.2 Mbps. On 1 September 2010, StarHub launched ultra-high speed broadband services with speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 1 Gbps. In Q211, 57 per cent of StarHub's customers were subscribed to more than one service.
