Operator Source 29 Jan 2012StofaStofa is Denmark's second biggest provider of radio, cable TV and cable Internet services to residential users. It was established in 1959 and acquired by TeliaSonera in 1995. Until August 2010 it was a wholly owned subsidiary of the TeliaSonera group. In July 2010 TeliaSonera agreed to sell Stofa to the Swedish private equity investor Ratos AB. Currently it is a 99 per cent owned subsidiary of Ratos. In January 2011, Stofa purchased the cable division of Canal Digital, owned by Norwegian telecoms group Telenor. However the acquisition was cancelled in July 2011 due to low probability of the regulatory approval of the deal.
