T-Hrvatski Telekom (T-HT) is the incumbent operator in Croatia. Through its two business units, T-Com and T-Mobile, the Group provides fixed telephony, mobile telephony, wholesale, Internet and data services. T-HT is 51 per cent controlled by Deutsche Telecom, with the state holding a 9.5 per cent stake.

On 30 May 2006, T-HT announced the acquisition of 'Iskon Internet d.d', for EUR 13.7 million. This acquisition will enable the operator to use Iskon's core competencies in areas such as speed, flexibility, IP technology and customer relations for the expansion of its products and services across Croatia.

In 2009, the operator started the accelerated development of its fibre network and it expects to connect its first customers by the end of 2009.
