Telekom Srpske, Banja Luka was established on 20 December 1996 as a fully state owned company. After the organisational change in December 2002, it was transformed into a shareholding company and rebranded as Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske a.d., Banja Luka. The controlling 65 per cent stake in the company is owned by Telekom Srbije with the remaining shares distributed among Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, numerous funds and other smaller shareholders.

Telekom Srpske is among the three leading telecommunications providers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It provides a wide range of services including fixed telephony, mobile telephony and Internet to both private and business customers. The company offers its customers broadband with speeds of up to 8 Mbps as well as a wide range of converged services including double and triple play.
