TelstraClear is New Zealand’s second largest full service telecommunications company. It was established after the acquisition of Clear Communications by TelstraSaturn in December 2001. The operator is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Corporation, Australia after the acquisition of a 42 per cent stake from Austar United Communications in April 2003.
TelstraClear provides a full range of voice, data, broadband Internet, mobile, managed services and digital cable TV products and services to the New Zealand market. It also offers triple play services over cable networks in Wellington, Christchurch and Kapiti.
