TelstraClear is New Zealand’s second largest full service telecommunications company. It was established after the acquisition of Clear Communications by TelstraSaturn in December 2001. The operator has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Telstra Corporation Australia, following the acquisition of a 42 per cent stake from Austar United Communications in April 2003.

TelstraClear provides a full range of voice, data, broadband Internet, mobile, managed services and digital cable TV products and services to the New Zealand market. It offers the country's first triple play voice, Internet and digital TV service for residential customers across its HFC network in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch. It provides Internet and voice services to households and businesses across New Zealand via partnerships with Network Tasman and Northpower, and via other network providers under local loop unbundling or wholesaling arrangements.
