UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones is a 100 per cent public enterprise owned by Empresas Publicas de Medellin. It offers integrated fixed and IP telephony, mobile, broadband, dial-up and other telecommunication services to residential and business customers. As of July 2006 it operates under the brand name UNE.

At the end of 2011, UNE had a 27.7 per cent share of the fixed Internet market in Colombia, up by 3.9 per cent compared to end-2010.

In December 2011, UNE launched LTE services.
