UPC Czech is the largest broadband cable operator in the Czech Republic offering cable TV, cable Internet and telephony services.

UPC is a worldwide brand with operations in several European countries. In July 2005, Liberty Global acquired UnitedGlobalCom, the majority shareholder in UPC. In January 2007, Liberty Global completed the acquisition of Karneval, the second largest cable operator in the Czech Republic, for EUR 322.5 million (USD 428.3 million). Nine months later, UPC Czech fully integrated Karneval into its structure.

In March 2011, UPC Czech acquired Sloane Park Property Trust which enabled the operator to integrate the backbone optical networks of the two companies.
