UPC Poland offers cable TV, cable Internet and telephony services in Poland. The company is a 100 per cent owned subsidiary of United Pan-Europe Communications (UPC) and UnitedGlobalCom is the majority shareholder of UPC.

In July 2005, Liberty Global acquired UnitedGlobalCom. Liberty Global has operations in 17 European countries including the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Hungary, Belgium, Norway, Austria, Slovakia, Poland, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Portugal and in Israel.

UPC Poland is the largest broadband cable operator in Poland and is Poland’s leading provider of triple play services. In September 2009, it launched broadband services with up to 120 Mbps download speeds. In December 2010, UPC Poland announced it would acquire Aster. The merger of two companies was completed on 1 January 2012.
