Vietnam Post and Telecommunication Corporation (VNPT) is the main fixed line incumbent operator in Vietnam and the former multiple monopoly holder in the telecom sector. It is still the largest market player in the country. Its range of services offered include fixed and mobile telephony, satellite TV, Internet, private leased circuit, frame relay and VoIP.

On 29 September 2009, VNPT launched MyTV, its IPTV service offering. The interactive service will give its customers access to the Internet, video calls and TV.

VNPT offers ADSL services via its subsidiary Vietnam Datacommunication Company (VDC). It also manufactures and distributes network products including copper and fibre-optic cable, digital microwave equipment and peripheral devices.
