The Belgian fixed broadband market grew by 5.43% in 2013, marginally below the European average of 5.80%. Population penetration of fixed broadband in the country is relatively high so similar levels of single digit growth are expected in the coming years.

Belgacom and Telenet are the two biggest ISPs in Belgium, with market shares of 43.1% and 37.6% respectively. Brutele is the other other operator with a market share of more than 10%.
